In water, 90% of your body weight is relieved, you become bouyant. Bouyancy supports the body and allows you to make larger movements. It also eliminates the weight bearing impact felt on land. Whether you're looking for low impact cardiovascular work, or want to stay cool while working out, water aerobics is a great way to stay fit without a high risk of injury.
Everyone can benefit from aquatic exercise. But it's a prime option for someone who:
- Is interested in cross-training
- Has arthritis or other joint problems
- Has a back problem
- Is recovering from an injury with doctor's permission
- Is overweight
- Has weak leg muscles
- Is pregnant
My water aerobic workouts are tailored to provide full body rhythmic exercies conducted in shallow and/or deep water for 60 minutes. Careful attention is paid to injury prevention, proper warm-up, maximizing cardiovascular fitness, and fun!
Schedule: Summer Session One begins June 22nd and goes through July 16th.
Summer Session Two begins July 27th and goes through August 20th.
Rates: Walk-in: $15.00 per visit
Mondays and Thursdays at 7:00-8:00 pm : $70.00 (8 days total only)
Both Days for two sessions: $140.00 (Allows 16 visits both Mondays and Thursdays during current session only)
Combo Pass: $90.00 (Valid for use with Water Aerobics or Yoga Classes. Pass allows 10 visits and expires 60-90 days.)
